Today the "Destination Humboldt" show comes down at the Redwood Art Association. Next up? The "Scary Show" for November Arts Alive! Make sure you carve out some spooky good time.

Art Loan Program Update 1

To date two pieces have new temporary homes for the next six months. While dropping off "Mayday Bill" today I was nicely surprised to receive an art piece from friends as well. Now I get to admire a great piece of work too, thanks guys!

Art Loan Program

Starting Sep 24, 2015 I implemented what I call the "Art Loan Program". Lend out some of my art to people I know. Think of it as an art library, 'cept "you" get to hang with the piece till its time to return home, probably six months. In doing this it gets more local art out and about & maybe, just maybe someone else will bite off and lend their art out as well.

New Website!

Howdy all, pretty sure if you've been following my art movement things have changed a bit. Last night I launched my new updated version of what a website should be. HUGE thanks to my buddy Joe Lance who not only pushed me to make this happen but stepped up and made sure all the backside stuff no one sees happens, Thank you Joe.  I'm open for Biz! Let the good times roll

Art Show - US Bank, Henderson Center, Eureka, CA

Today I installed quite abit of art, some from my own private collection and sad to say some are a NFS, not for sale. Gotta keep a few good ones for myself ya?  Other than the few that are not for sale pretty much everything else is or can be done up as a special order.  Big thanks to all at US Bank.

Post Makers Fair 2015

What a great time to spend outdoors, once we had our booth setup we were good to go. Nine hours went by like 45mins.  Once Arts Alive kicked in around 6pm open the flood gates. This was probably one of the funnest shows I've participated in, just wish it was more profitable. Big hugs to everyone who stopped by!

Arts Alive -Makers Street Fair Aug, 1, 2015

5th annual Humboldt Makers Street Fair is happening same day as Arts Alive.  I'll have a booth set up with friends and will be located directly outside the Siren Song Tavern on 2nd street old town Eureka.  Things get going at high noon and go till end of Arts Alive at 9pm. Stop by & check things out, should be for a great time.

North Coast Open Studios 2015 - Weekend 2 Update 2!

Since some of my earring inventory was gloriously depleted last weekend (awesome!) I came up with an entirely new line dubbed the "Tsunami Series". More hands on this weekend, I'll be also demonstrating the annealing process. Stop by and have some fun!

Last weekend the hit of the day was hands on making copper earrings. I show you first, then you apply same technique. This weekend I'll open it up again for hands on fun. Stop by open Sat/Sun 11-5.  Today's featured art piece is a couple sea horses I did a couple weeks back, need a bigger one!

North Coast Open Studios 2015 - Week 1 complete

It was a fun couple days for the first week of Open Studios, I demonstrated first on how to make one earring, then the next person in line made the other. Fun process to see everyone get all happy and into the small fish earring they were making.  I lost count at how many pairs of earrings were made. Kicker? Everyone who made theirs took them home with them, free fun!  See you all next week.

North Coast Open Studios 2015!

Hello everyone, I'll be open both weekends for Open Studios 2015.  If you're in Eureka I'm out by the Eureka golf course, easy to find.  Tons of new works I've recently completed. Original goal was to have 30 sharks by the time Open Studios rolled around, at the time I had only maybe half a dozen.  I reached my goal of 30 well ahead of time, duh; so I modified my shark goal to 40.  I hit that number a couple days ago and wow, how things change in such a small amount of time, very cool.  Needless to say the SharQuarium is at full capacity and over flowing. Hope to see everyone out and about.   Cheers!

Rutabaga Crown has arrived!

Rutabaga Crown for this year is finished, Rutabaga Ball held on Saturday May 16, 2015. Another masterpiece completed, five years running for this Glorious crown maker.
