Recent addition to my ever growing shark sculpture population. This guy made his debut for the Oct 2015 "Scary Show" located at Redwood Art Association. Presently he is residing at the 6 Rivers Brewery located in McKinleyville, CA.
Idea was to have a big game animal as a wall mount, since I don't hunt anything I thought I'd make a shark for my trophy piece. Copper, brass, steel & glass eyes by Copius Glass.
This is what I call the "skinning process", once the wire framework is completed start the skinning process. I don't like square patchwork stuff, (boring) so I try and make it flow with no real straight lines, maybe a few.
I decided on a porthole that the shark would be busting through, here you see the making of a rivet. Where's Rosy Riveter when you need her?
Welcome to 6 Rivers Brewery, find a seat while Sharky the HammerHead takes care of Security
This is what you will see upon entering 6 Rivers Brewery located in McKinleyville, CA just off the 101 North. Underwater view you would have if scuba diving under a big ass shark. 2nd Dorsal fin check, pelvic fins check, yes I even have the anal fin for all those fish doctors who always seem to inquire, check!

Amazing the way things happen in life, this is one of them, never would of thought of this combo happening. Cool copper shark, cool beer posters all with curly redwood as your frame, very nice.
6 Rivers Brewery - NOW!
I'll be you waiter for tonight's dining festivities
Hey a shark works up an appetite just like anyone else, who doesn't want something nice and cold to wash it all down.
Now on display and both sharks are "FOR SALE"!
Couldn't of asked for a better place to have this guy call home till the sea changes.
