Each trip has a beginning & end.
Old tub on the left is around the California / Oregon border. Keep cruising the 101 and next up another old boat. Evening meal is being served up at the Luna Sea. The end was heading home and happened upon Concrete. Now you know where your sidewalks come from.
Part 1 of 3 - Vancouver Island north to the bitter end of Port Hardy!
I started Vancouver Island in Victoria and drove to various places sketching along the entire way.
Comox & Campbell River. Drive north my friends see the real island
Vancouver Island I took my time & stayed about six weeks
Telegraph Cove pretty amazing place. All wood decking & buildings. Big "No Smoking" signs posted everywhere.
Port Alice simply stunning of stunning. I crossed over to Vancouver City downtown drug infested, sirens everywhere. Blah
Three weeks in Hawaii. High school graduation, check. Daughter / Dad play time one week, check. See Kilauea blow Big Check!
Coast Guard Cutter Kimbal drydock Oahu & Diamond Head. Pink Lady stop there for cocktails. Makapuu one of my favorite of favorites in the whole world!
Food truck north shore Oahu a must stop! Big island lot of driving, duh its pretty darn big! Kilauea was blowing up! Downtown Hilo.
Wai'pio Valley a big WOW! Taipei 101 once one of the tallest of the tallest over 1660'. Stainless Rhino huge down from the "101"
Umbrella Lady, Syntrend in Taipei. Bangka Man cutting up the evening meat. Turnip cakes no thanks
Grand Hotel, MaoKong gondola ride & eastern Taiwan
Tamsui city at the end of the Red Line - Metro line that is. Fish Slingin guy is one of my favs
