North Coast Open Studios - First Weekend

Great time this first weekend, thank you all who stopped by, stayed awhile or purchased art.  This was my first attempt at NCOS and found it to be quite nice.  Actually allowed some down time in my own front yard with great company for two days.  I'll be open again next weekend for those who were unable to attend.  The fishin?  Well the fishin is good, see ya next week!

North Coast Open Studios 2013

NCOS 2013 is here, June 1-2, 8-9.  Please stop by and check out some awesome art and great deals.  Lots of copper fish to choose from.  Water fountains, lighthouses, boats.  Pieces of interest?  "Walk of the Bumble Bee" or "Conquistador Sal - The Last Fight".  Or don't forget about "Air Rob" doing a fly by over "Hobart Sails Away".

Wet your whistle?  I'm located near the Eureka golf course.  If coming from downtown Eureka, take "E" street all the way south 'til "Alder street"  Take a "Right" second drive on the left, look for big sign.

See you all this weekend.  Scott

Featured Artist - Lighthouse Series "Things that Blink"

I will be the featured artist for the month of November 2012 with Ironside Gallery located downtown Arcata, CA.  This month I've completed five new lighthouses, all but one blink flashing red. Plus the mightest of them all Amedee Light clocking in at over five feet tall.  Show is up and running, stop by, enjoy and take home some art.

Industrial City, U.S.A.

Industrail City, U.S.A. is a fully functioning water fountain constructed on redwood root, while using copper, steel & brass to make the water carrying apparatus.  Water is pumped from the bases water tank & pump system to the above lighthouse.  This is where the waters journey begins, all while swirling back to its forever destination.  She is roughly 5.5ft tall and is presently showing with the Ironside Gallery, Arcata, CA.
